Dear Emirati Friends and Esteemed Members of the Community in the United Arab Emirates,

It is with great honour and pleasure that I assume my duties as the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Dubai, effective 15 October 2026.

Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates enjoy deep-rooted ties of friendship, mutual respect, and cultural affinity. I look forward to further advancing our bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation across various fields, building upon the close bonds between our two countries and peoples.

In the economic and commercial sphere, we will work closely with our Commercial Attache’s Office to further strengthen trade and investment ties between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, facilitate business partnerships, and explore new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation. We will also seek to foster closer engagement between our business communities and promote opportunities for sustainable growth and long-term economic partnerships, particularly in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

We also attach great importance to cultural exchange as a means of fostering mutual understanding and bringing our peoples closer. In cooperation with our Culture and Promotion Attache’s Office, we will continue to promote Turkish culture and heritage, while further strengthening the cultural ties between our two nations.
